The Concept
Our retreat welcomes everyone, individuals, couples, families and small groups.
We offer a chance to totally relax and enjoy this wonderful area and share locally, freshly prepared home cooked food with the best ingredients. To sample something of a true local Italian life in the most wonderful setting!

The Retreat
With total relaxation in mind we offer meditation carried out within the quiet of our woodland setting, an introduction to Iridology, with the possibility of a private consultation.
A morning of wild food gathering followed by wine tasting concentrating on Tuscan wines, served with antipasti, a relaxed cooking session with Antonio an authentic Italian chef, followed by lunch.
Lunch, a glass of wine and local water from the mountain spring will be provided daily, shared around the table and included in the price. An evening with local musicians and a BBQ conclude our special 7 day retreat holiday.

Location
Just an hour from Pisa Airport, also within easy access of Parma and Genova Airports, we are in an area of Northern Tuscany known as Lunigiana. It is an unspoiled area of natural beauty, away from the crowds and commercialism but half an hour from the nearest beach and within easy access of the breathtaking Cinque Terre.

Accommodation
Our retreat is situated in a tranquil woodland where you can relax and feel at peace, we have stunning views of the Apuan Mountains and hilltop villages. Whilst in a private position we are only 5 minutes by car or a 30 minute walk from the village of Licciana Nardi. We offer a choice of accommodation either to be based with us at “Settimo Cielo”, in your own en suite room, or in a castle just 5 minutes away.
The castle, situated close to the village, is beautifully restored, and offers 6 en-suite rooms and 2 suites. Producers of wine, olive oil and honey since the Middle Ages, they also have a good restaurant and a pool.
Breakfast is included each day at both venues.

Airport transfers are not included in the price but can be arranged. We can also create some tasty Italian evening meals using local produce, these will be individually priced.
